Trip from Matema to Kyela

We decided to return back to Kyela as the rest of our days we would be working around that town.

The rain did poor down the whole night and also now during the day, it hardly stops.  The trip took over 2 hours, nearly the double of the time, we normally would need!

At some places, our car had to drive through half a meter of water. But that's no problem for a 4x4, the only vehicle which can get you around. Local residents make now some extra money helping cars, that are not well equipped, to the other side.

People have to wade up to their knees through the water to get to their houses.  As this season comes back every year precautions are taken: the houses are normally build on a small platform, but after only a few days in the rain season, that is sometimes not enough and some houses are flooded already.

It is quite impressive! let me tell you that!
